Ev Rebates are back and are only available for a short time while funds last. The province of BC has allotted $6.59 million for this rebate. BC Hydro and Clean BC have started a new fund for 2024, and there are a few requirements for these rebates. You must be a resident of BC and your business has to be incorporated in BC as well. Only homes and buildings built before August 2020 qualify for this rebate. (If you own a business, you may apply for a fleet rebate) The number of rebates may change depending on the amount of funds available. On our website, we are only summarizing the rebates. For a full breakdown, you can check the BC Hydro or Plug In BC website. An EV plan must be issued and passed before any work can start, and you have up to 6 months to complete the work to claim the rebates showed blow.
